All About ELC Collectables and Crafts!
I began trading under ELC Collectables and Crafts in the summer of 2025, after spending a good few years working in various roles in the collectables industry, primarily with trading cards, comic books, toys and retro video games. As a collector myself I've always loved the feeling that comes with finding a little piece of treasure, whether it's something you've spent ages on the lookout for to add to your collection, or if it's an unexpected blast from the past that brings back a good dose of nostalgia and good memories, and sharing this feeling with other people is one of my favourite parts of selling collectables.
Renewability and recycling is another huge part of the ELC Collectables and Crafts ethos, as there's nothing better to give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside than knowing that a vintage item has been saved from ending up in a landfill and is on its way to a new home where it'll be loved and appreciated all over again! This is something that I try to encorporate into as many aspects of ELC C&C as I can, including using recycled packaging wherever possible when packing orders and it very much applies to the crafts side of the business too. I'm a big fan of using recycled materials in my artwork, whether that's re-painting old Pokemon cards, using scrap pieces of wood or card in paintings and dioramas or even beads from old costume jewellery in multi-medium works!
So, if you're searching for somewhere that'll give you a trip down memory lane, or perhaps point you in the direction of something new, where appreciating cool and unique things is the number one priority, you've come to the right place! I'm always adding all sorts of new bits and bobs but if there's anything you're particularly on the hunt for or if you have any questions about any of the items on the store, feel free to get in touch and let's get collecting!
Meet The Team!
Emily - Owner/Manager
- I'm in charge of photographing and uploading items, picking and packing orders and all that other good stuff, plus producing all the hand-made crafts available in the store! One of my favourite parts of selling collectables and antiques is doing the research on items, particularly when anything unusual or especially interesting comes in!
- Favourite Film: Any of the original Star Wars trilogy, Pokemon 3, Akira, Little Shop of Horrors, Lost In Translation
- Favourite Book: Any of the A Song of Ice and Fire Series or The Catcher in The Rye
- Favourite Song: Currently - Good Ol' Days by Hayley Williams
- Favourite TV Show: Coronation Street
- A Fun Fact About Me: I once met Slash from Guns and Roses and I told him he had nice gloves on and he giggled.
Liz - Assistant Manager
Liz is the Assistant Manager here at ELC C&C and she rules our office with an iron paw. Quality control and stock checking our inventory is her particular area of expertise, although she does dabble in the odd bit of customer service now and again. She was also in charge of bookkeeping until we realised she couldn't actually count (don't ask her about that though it's a touchy subject...)
- Favourite Film: The Silence of The Lambs
- Favourite Book: Misery
- Favourite Song: Fast Car by Tracy Chapman
- Favourite TV Show: Hetty Wainthrop Investigates
- A Fun Fact About Liz: If you Google "cat on rollercoaster meme" her face is one of the top photos that comes up, honestly go and check now if you don't believe us.
Titus - Creative Director
Titus is our Creative Director, assisting with both photography of our stock and often lending a paw when it comes to developing new ideas of the hand-made craft side of things here at ELC C&C. He also helps manage our Instagram and Tik Tok accounts, although I have asked him to spend a little less time on his phone recently as he is prone to doom-scrolling.
- Favourite Film: Taxi Driver
- Favourite Book: The Wind In The Willows
- Favourite Song: Why Should I Worry (From the Oliver and Company OST) by Billy Joel
- Favourite TV Show: The X-Files
- A Fun Fact About Titus: He has aspirations of being a writer one day. He's also really big.
Bella - Head of HR
Bella is in charge of all things HR and pastoral-care related, as she's always been very sociable and likes putting her people skills to good use, though she can occasionally be a *slightly* too enthusiastic about this as personal space is not a concept she understands. Bella might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but she's always glad to be involved, whether the task at hand requires her input or not, she's just happy to be here.
Favourite Film: 101 Dalmatians
Favourite Book: The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Favourite Song: Either One Week by Barenaked Ladies (she likes the line about "chickadee china the chinese chicken, have a drumstick and your brain starts tickin") or that whistling tune from the intro to Disney's Robin Hood
Favourite TV Show: Bargain Hunt
A Fun Fact About Bella: As well as responding to her name, Bella will also answer to the name "Steve". We're not entirely sure why this is, she may or may not secretly be a man called Steve in a dog suit.
Norman - Work Experience
Norman is the newest member of the team and enjoys helping out in all sorts of different areas, although he has a particular interest in the IT side of things. As the youngest of our colleagues here at ELC C&C, Norman's looking forward to working his way up the career ladder and perhaps starting his own business one day, he's a very entrepreneurial young man.
Favourite Film: Good Will Hunting
Favourite Book: How To Win Friends and Influence People
Favourite Song: Make Your Own Kind Of Music by Cass Elliot
Favourite TV Show: Bluey
A Fun Fact About Norman: If you look at Norman from a distance and squint he looks a bit like a pipe-cleaner.
